Terms and conditions
Last updated:
These terms cover the Ayahora app and this website. By installing the app or using the site you agree to them.
The app
Ayahora lets you read the Quran, see calculated prayer times, read hadith and dua, search what is on your phone, and find the Qibla from a saved place. Core worship features are available without an account and without a purchase.
Guest and account
You may continue as a guest. If you create an account you are responsible for keeping access to that email or Google account. Signing out does not delete local data or the cloud copy. Deleting the account is described in the delete account page and the privacy policy.
Prayer times and Qibla
Times and the Qibla bearing are calculated on your device. They are a personal aid. They are not an official mosque timetable, and you should follow your local mosque when the two differ.
Religious text
Quran, hadith and dua text comes from the sources named in About. We do not invent that text. Translations belong to their publishers. Do not treat the app as a fatwa or as a substitute for a scholar.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app or the site, attempt to break into accounts, or scrape the service in a way that degrades it for others. The app is for personal worship and study.
The website
This site describes the app and hosts the privacy policy, these terms and the delete-account instructions. Store links open Google Play. An iPhone version is not offered yet.
No warranty
The app and site are provided as they are. Calculated times, downloaded text and sync can fail or be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, Kormot is not liable for decisions you make from prayer times or from text in the app.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without limiting any mandatory rights you have where you live.
