Delete your account
Last updated:
You can delete an Ayahora account from the app. This page is the public address for that request, including for Google Play.
Where to do it
Open Ayahora, go to Profile, then Delete account. The app asks you to confirm. You must be signed in, and the phone needs a network connection.
What is removed
- The cloud copy in Cloud Firestore for that user, including bookmarks and synced settings
- The Firebase Authentication user (email or Google sign-in)
What stays
Quran, hadith and dua already downloaded, and bookmarks, progress and settings on that phone, stay on the phone. Sign-out is separate and does not delete the account. Uninstalling the app does not delete the cloud copy; use Delete account first if you want that gone.
If it cannot finish
If the phone is offline, deletion stops and the account remains until a connection can remove the cloud copy. We do not delete the cloud copy from this website, because the site cannot prove it is you.
Help
If you cannot open the app, email admin@kormot.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will use that only to find the account and remove it.
